IT-Label audit

The official assessment of your building. We measure on site, under real conditions. You receive a certificate that is valid for two years.

What happens

We assess your building using the standard IT-Label methodology. We look at what is in place, and we measure how it performs. On a busy Tuesday that is often different from an empty building. That is why we measure under real conditions.

  1. Apply

We agree what we assess: the building, the spaces and the delivery level.

  2. Audit

We assess the infrastructure on site and measure its performance.

  3. Label

The result is a label from IT1+ to IT5, with an explanation per component.

  4. Certificate

You receive the certificate and materials to showcase the label.

What we look at

The label looks at six components. Together they determine the score from 0 to 100.

ConnectivityType of connection, capacity, redundancy, speed, latency and stability.
InfrastructureCabling, WiFi, patch and server rooms, network management and backup connections.
PerformanceThe measured performance under actual load, not the specification on paper.
ScalabilityWhether the infrastructure scales with increasing load and new applications.
IntegrationWhether building systems work together or stand apart.
Smart BuildingClimate control, access control, camera security, visitor registration and reservation systems.

What you can do with it

You show what your building has to offer, in your brochure, on property portals or in conversations with a tenant. And because the IT Demarcation List records who arranges what, you avoid disputes after handover.

Questions

Who can carry out an IT-Label audit?

Only a certified partner, following the standard IT-Label methodology. IT Label Expert is such a partner.

How long is the certificate valid?

Two years. Digital technology ages faster than a building. Have you made improvements in the meantime? Then you can have the building reassessed sooner.

What if the label is disappointing?

The IT-Label does not say whether a building is good or bad. It shows what is in place. A tenant who knows what is missing can take that into account. That is better than a surprise afterwards.

What is the IT Demarcation List?

A list that records who arranges what: the owner or the tenant. That varies by building and by lease. The list makes it clear to everyone.

Can I have part of a building labelled?

Yes. When you apply, we agree together what we assess: the whole building, a few floors or specific spaces.

Ready for your label?

Already know what is in place? Then we can schedule right away. Not sure? Start with a pre-inspection.
