IT-Label partner

How digital is your building, really?

Fibre in the meter cupboard says very little. What matters is what comes out of the wall on the third floor. We measure it, and you get an IT-Label that tenants and buyers can rely on.

The IT-Label runs from IT1+ to IT5. Click a level for an explanation.

  1. The IT-Label. How digital is your building, really?
  2. What is it? Like an energy label, but for digital infrastructure. Six levels, from IT1+ to IT5. Independently assessed, with no pass or fail: the label shows what is in place.
  3. What is measured? Connectivity, Infrastructure, Performance, Scalability, Integration and Smart Building.
  4. How does it work? You apply, we audit on site, and you get a label from IT1+ to IT5 and a certificate that is valid for two years.
  5. How we help. With a pre-inspection you know where you stand. With the IT-Label audit you receive the official certificate. With digital due diligence you know what you are buying.
  6. Which label would your building get? Take the free self-scan, or schedule a pre-inspection straight away.

A tenant signs a five-year lease. After the move, the WiFi in the corner of the floor turns out not to work, and the connection drops when everyone is on a video call at once. Nobody had checked.

no coverage
Example of a WiFi measurement. Blue means good coverage. In the bottom right the signal drops out, exactly where people work.

Usually this is not down to bad intentions. The digital quality of a building was simply never recorded anywhere. So nobody knows exactly: not the owner, not the agent and not the tenant.

The IT-Label changes that. It works like an energy label: one code that shows how the building performs digitally. Independently assessed, valid for two years. How the IT-Label works

From the meter cupboard to the roof

We do not just look at what is on paper. We walk through the building and measure where people actually work.

What you get from us

Not a thick report that disappears into a drawer. Instead: a label, a score per component and a short list of what to do first.

On the right you can see what the summary of a pre-inspection might look like. The building is fictional.

Questions we often get

Is your question not listed? Just send it to us.

Is a pre-inspection the same as an audit?

No. After a pre-inspection you know which label your building is likely to achieve and what you can improve. You only receive the official IT-Label and certificate after an on-site audit with measurements.

What if my building gets a low label?

Then everyone knows exactly what is in place. That is the whole point. The IT-Label does not say whether a building is good or bad. It shows what is there. For a tenant who wants to do their own fit-out, IT4 can be perfectly fine.

What does it cost?

That depends on the size and type of building. You receive a fixed price in advance. Request a proposal.
