Who arranges the WiFi? Who pays for the internet connection? Who fixes a fault in the patch cabinet? That varies from building to building and from lease to lease. The IT Demarcation List sets out those agreements clearly.
In one building the landlord provides everything, including management. In another the landlord only provides the connection and the tenant arranges the rest. Both can work well, as long as it is clear.
The IT Demarcation List belongs with the IT-Label. Together they prevent disputes during negotiations and after handover.
What does this mean for the IT-Label?
The IT Demarcation List goes hand in hand with the IT-Label. The label shows what is in place; the list records who does what. That matters because the division varies from building to building and from lease to lease. With a shell delivery, the tenant arranges almost everything; at IT1+, the landlord arranges everything.
